Helpful Doctors

Burman: Dr. Kenneth Burman

Endocrinologist, Adrenal, Diabetes
Washington Hospital Center Irving St., NW Washington, DC
This doctor is experienced and thorough. On my first visit to him re: Thyroid problems he immediately brought Cushing's Syndrome/Disease to my vocabulary. He listens very well and keeps good records of every visit. Although he has been unable to diagnose me, for all tests come back normal, he is very interested in pursuing if there is Cushing's or not; he is now considering cyclical Cushing's and has given me salivary tests to "catch" the cortisol fluctuations. I am very greateful that I found this doctor and I can recommend him to you all if you are in the area. 0

" This is the best website to learn anything about cushings and everyone here is truly family. You couldn't ask for nicer or smarter people to help you through this. We owe it all to Mary O for starting this for us and for all of the wonderful and smart people who help others with their wealth of information. I am truly blessed to be a part of this, I love you all!! "
