The Emory Pituitary Center will be hosting a Pituitary Education Day for patients, family and friends interested in learning more about pituitary disorders. The pituitary gland releases many hormones into the bloodstream which are essential for body functions. Disorders of the pituitary can produce both hormonal and neurological symptoms. Symptoms that may suggest a pituitary tumor vary but most pituitary disorders are usually diagnosed with hormone tests and a brain MRI.
