Hi...I guess I'm a new "cushie" although I've probably had this lovely disease for at least 3 years now when my BP started creaping up at age 27.

No other risk factors, apparently I had "anxiety" issues.  With a long list of wacky symptoms and wondering why I couldn't get off the couch and enjoy my most wonderful life and family, I finally had a doctor that heard me, said I was "too young for all of this, we're going to get to the bottom of it".

So it was an MRI of the brain that Dx the tumor and a 24 hr urine cortisol test that then diagonosed the cushing's.  I scooted myself and my records to University of VA and I had my surgery October 14, 2010.

I can't wait to see what "normal" is really like, if it will ever get here!
