I'll do a quickie intro: My name is Shauna, two kids and one husband plus 11 chickens. Dxed Cushing's in 2001, had transphenoidal in 8/01 and had BLA in 2/02. Feeling better than ever, though there's no real normal. I now am able to get up in the morning, go about my day and have minimal problems.
I'm currently injecting dex (dose is roughly .2, I think), take 4 florinef a day plus desmopressin and synthroid. Also salt pills. My bp is 70/40 on a good day, but again - part of the new normal.
I was on the Cushing's boards for a loooong time, but only post occassionally. A lot of the folks on there with me aren't with us anymore, which makes it hard to visit.
Hugs!

Feel free to post my into...I'll get on the boards soon. I visited last month or so, so I guess that's something. The big message is that there IS life after Cushings and a BLA and it's a darned good life. The best part is that because of this stuff we go through, we know we have to appreciate every moment, moments that other people let pass by without notice. For us, we're here to see them and it's all magical - even the not so fun stuff.
Read Shauna's bio here.
Shauna also did a guest interview for us, back in the days of text interviews. Maybe she can be convinced into doing a BlogTalk interview sometime!
That interview is here.
