Dom, undiagnosed bio
smaller text tool iconmedium text tool iconlarger text tool icon

Hi,

I am a 28 year old white male.  I have had several main symptoms which trouble me a bit and am looking for advice.   I have been to my primary care doc and several other regular docs (I have sinus/allergy probs) and have had a great deal of differing opinions on what I am about to explain ranging from noticable concern to "your're nuts/worrying" type responces.

My main concerns are:

1.  Beat red flushing after typical triggers (stuff that would make a normal person flush exercise, cold, sun, emotional, etc) It is particularly bad under stress
and temperature changes from cold to warm.  It lasts for days at a time.  I always look as if I had a little sun in between the flare ups.  Caffine seems to agrivate it.  Prior to 5 years ago or so I NEVER sunburned signifiantly, flushed, windburned, etc.  Now its every time all the time that I have that look.

2. I have gained 30lbs dispite an active outdoor lifestlyle over the past 5 years, all in my face and stomach area.  My diet is not the best, but never was. 10 of these pounds are within the last few months.

3. Episodic elevated blood pressure from 120/80 to 150/95ish.  Seems related to flushing episodes.

4.  Anxiety/Irritablity spells that develeped about 5 years ago.  Doesn't feel like stress however, feels more like I drank a bunch of coffee or adreniline rush.

Thanks,

Dom
