In 2010 the Foundation is hosting events in most of the major cities of Australia but also to "go bush" to bring awareness and education to those who live in rural and remote areas.

Far North Queensland kicked off our season of pituitary awareness with their 'Pituitary in the Tropics' seminar.  The seminar was targeted not only at people in Cairns, but also in Townsville,  Mareeba, Edmonton, Atherton, Cooktown and surrounding areas.  A large number attended.   Download the flyer to see the wonderful line up of presenters and go to News to read more about the day.

Next in line was a very successful seminar at Calvary Health Care in Lenah Valley in Hobart, Tasmania.  "Pituitary Surgery and Medical Management - What to Expect". Our membership in Tasmania is quite small however with the promotion of this seminar we found many health professionals attending.  It is hoped in turn, they will spead the word of the existance of our Foundation and we were proud to facilitate this education in conjunction with Calvary Hospital.    Please download the flyer or go to News to read more about the day.

3rd off the rank was a rural presentation.  St. John of God Private Hospital in Bendigo hosted an amazing day, with great topics and for the first time including Sleep Apnea and an informative talk by a Psychiatrist.  We named the seminar "Pituitary in Bendigo - Unearhing the Facts" - of course the gland is like gold to us, and Bendigo is known for it's gold mining.    Please download the flyer or go to News to read more about the day.

Thank you to the following companies for their continued support of our Educational Seminars: Novartis, SciGen, Pfizer,  Novo Nordisk, Merck Serono, Lilly, Ipsen and Ferring.
