I'm 45 years old and live in Ravenna Ohio--I can't seem to find any kind of support groups  this area (Akron, Cleveland?)

I have had (2) Pit. Surgeries and was DX with Cushings Disease 2007.  Oct 2008 had Gamma Knife Radiation and take 6 Ketoconazole pills a day.  Nothing has changed and it seems as though the next step will be to take out BOTH my Adrenal Glands, will see the Endro in Oct.

Still feel very TIRED, TIRED TIRED and with 2 boys 18 and 16 you moms know we do what we can anymore.--My oldest starts college next Mon. and the younger one is a 10th grader and advide sports kid.  My house gets little attention due to my tiredness, sore muscles, nausua at times, diarahha etc.  I then get frustrated because I feel as though I'm just EXISTING and NOT LIVING!!!  I have put on about 100lbs since who knows when, we're sure I've had Cushings for some time.  Like many of you I too was told to lose weight, your tired cause your an at home mom, running all the time, blah blah blah.

Then also told have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, finally had a partial hystarectomy ?2004? or so, but still have the ovaries--just one thing after another-feel as though I don't recover from one surgery and another was to follow.

So now a major high risk surgery to take both Adrenal Glands out, did meet with the surgeon before but decided to go with the Gamma Knife Radiation 1st--he said that tje right Adrenal could possibly be done with scope, BUT due to past surgeries and scaring tissue the right one would need to have an incision from mid-stomach around the right side to the back???----

So if I go this route what's ahead????Recovery wise???  Anyone have answers???

We'll see what happens at the visit in Oct. to see what's next?
