Hi my name is Elaine and im 24years old.  I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's about 8 months ago but i am still very unwell.  I am on 75mg of Levothyroxine and 20mg of T3.  I have had two high blood cortisol levels and was sent by my new and only Endo in Gibraltar for a Dex suppression test.  The Endo saw me twice.  he did no physical examination.  Didnt wiegh me, didnt look at my thyroid or search for nodules, didnt look at my mouth unlcers, nor my stretch marks, didnt look at my lump between shoulders, didnt check my horrible cellulite and bad cirulation on my legs. Nothing.  he looked at my results, said that i was fine and told me to go see a Pscychologist.

I cried my eyes out and he said he would not see me againt unless i saw a Psychologist.  I told him about all my symptoms, my part-time job, my innactive daily life, my severe fatigue and slowness etc.  He said i was fine because i suppressed in the test.  I told him about cyclic cushings and he said the test was definate.

I have been feeling so so sad and lonely ever since i saw him last week.  He is the only specialist in Gibraltar and i dont know where to find someone to help me.  Im afriad ill get depressed if i cant find help.  Parents dont support me.  They say that if something was wrong that it would have come up on some test by now.  So i have no support, im young and very tired and now my pay is cut in half.

If i post some results and symptoms can you guys guide me a little bit????

and is this Endo right????

can someone help me find a good doctor im willing to fly to the UK????

" Im sure you get this all the time but thank you for this web site!! When I had lymphoma stage 4 there was all kinds of info and support and so much understanding. Cushings has been a completely different journey very little understanding from Doctors and almost 0 from general public so thankful for this site. Hope you are doing well. And again thank you. "
