Hi Im Angie was diagnosed with Cushings in  september. Finally after 4 years of going to docs.

3cm adinoma thing growing in right adrenal gland.  Gland was removed to weeks ago.  Down to 20 10 and 10 of steriod replacement and feeling awful.  Have gone from 9.5 stone to 15.5 in four years.  My granny can move easier than me..

My endocrinologist rekons it will be at least a year be fore i start to feel better.  Is this right???

When will the beard go???  I feel like a freak.

Hi Angie,
I am not sure at what date you posted this, but I am hear to tell you that you will get your energy back in due time. Just keep pushing yourself forward. I had my adrenalectomy in Oct '10 and was off my meds by Aug '11 -- this is NOT a normal situation, but I just tell you to let you know that it can be done. Keep thinking positive thoughts!
