Melissa P, undiagnosed bio

I am 33 years old and have had symptoms of dizziness, extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, trouble concentrating, sweating, visual changes, hands shaking, and nervousness for a years.  I was told by my primary physician for years that it was depression and anxiety.

But since May 2009 the symptoms have gotten so much worse and I had to go on leave from work.  That is when I decided that something was physical wrong and I need to find a doctor that could help me.

I started with a endo who thought I might have myastenia gravis do he sent me to a neuro.  He did several test and said I did have MG that it was depression.  Believe me when I say I go sick of hearing about depression being my primary problem.  Of course anyone who has such symptoms would have depression for the fact that every doctor say "it's depression and nothing else".

From there I decided to find another endo besides the first one.  The reason I decided to start with an endo in the first place is because I have suffered with hypothyroidism since I was 14 and to be honest that is when the other symptoms started but has only gotten worse.  So I went to a 2nd endo and he ordered a methoprene test for addision's disease; my deoxycortisol and ACTH went way high while my cortisol level stayed normal.  He then ruled out addision's and started testing me for cushing's disease.  I did (6) 24 hour urines and several, several salivary cortisol test at home.  I have gotten the test results and am waiting to go back to the doctor.  I had several normal to high end salivary results and have only to high test results.  The results doesn't give a reference interval for some of the test results but the UFC never once showed high.  I did have 2 test come back with free cortisol/creatinine ratio LOW and the same to test to come back with 17-OH/creatinine ratios HIGH.  But whether the test results were high or low nothing was every flagged.

I am so confused about all of this.  And even though I would want to have cushing's I am just so ready to know what is wrong with me, no matter what it may be.

Please help!!!!!!   Thanks for listening!
