Cushing's Info

I just turned 22 years old. All of my medical problems started when I was 17.

Even though I have been diagnosed with Dysautonomia and POTS, which have led to gastroparesis, every doctor I have seen insisted I have Cushing's. The problem is, no one can prove it!

I have been to so many doctors and they all run the initial lab tests and when they come back within normal range, they drop the ball. I will continue to search for a doctor that understands cyclical Cushings and who will do whatever it takes to get the confirmed diagnosis. Not one doctor has ever done an MRI of my pituitary and adrenal glands to see if there are tumors present.

It is obvious that I have Cushings, see pictures here: http://s696.photobucket.com/albums/vv325/dreamchasers2009/?albumview=slideshow, but no one can catch the cortisol at a high level! I have done numerous 24 hr urine collections and have recently had a few salivary tests.

I will never give up no matter how long it takes!
