I am 57 years old. Last year in October I gained 30lbs and started sleeping loads. I had no idea what was wrong. I actually saw the buffalo hump form at the back of my kneck.
I went to my dr.s and he thought it was arthritis in the kneck. Also that my thyroind meds were not working.
Low and behold a year later I am 70lbs heavier the lump is now larger and uncofortable. I bruise all the time for no reason. I have swollen everything in my kneck.
This time the dr. felt it is Cushings and has referred me to an endicrinologist. I think in my case it may be because I have a thyroid problem. I am expecting a diagnosis of thyroid cancer. I just want to get to the bottom of it as gaing 70ibsin a year has caused major health issues. I also have bone spurs on my heels and can hardly walk for the tarsal tunnel syndrome.
SO all in all anything that will alleviate some of the issues would be apreciated.
