Cushing's Info

So it's fair to say that Cushings sucks!

I'm a 38 y/o mom of 4 girls. Have been "sick" for years.

Recently was diagnosed w/ Cushing's and was scheduled for the IPSS when the day before the test they called me to cancel because my UFC and serum cortisol dropped off to dangerously low levels out of the blue. Prior to this I had more than 4 highly elevated UFC's. salivary cortisol levels, and did not show ANY suppression to either high or low dose dex testing.

So once again 1 step forward, 2 steps back... Now they believe my cushing's may be cyclical and there is not an endo anywhere near me who will touch my case. I guess in the future I'll be trying to meet up with others with cyclical cushings and those who have either traveled to California for Dr, Friedman   or who went to Seattle Swedish for Camp Cushie. Would love to hear all about the pros and cons of both.
