I read Monica's story with tears and I am so pleased that she is finally on the road to recovery.  My daughter has all of the same symptoms, severe recurring sinus infections, unexplained weight gain combined with normal size arms and legs, unbearable headaches, the swelling at the back of the neck etc etc.  I can list more symptoms but cannot get the medical profession to investigate further.

As with Monica her cortisol levels came back within normal range after I had to demand that they test her.  The nearest we came to treatment was the surgeon stating that "they would 'wash out' her sinuses but she was too young for him to consider it".   In the meantime she has been left to suffer with constant infections, fevers and severe headaches which leave here ill for weeks at a time.  I have read on your website about a new test that might give some more conclusive results and am also wondering if a full MRI would show what is causing this.  Any information would be so greatly appreciated.

It cannot surely be so difficult to diagnose a known illness and stop the suffering that it causes.

Kim
