I went to numerous doctors over a 10 year period trying to find out what was wrong with me ...most telling me it was chronic fatigue, fibromyalgyia or depression.
I decided to see Dr. Brandt at Emory in Atlanta. He listened to me and started testing. It took about 3 months of testing for him to finally say it was Cushings. I was relieved but could not believe so many doctors had missed it.
I had my left adrenal gland and a 3 cm tumor removed in Feburary 2011. So far I still feel horrible and not able to come off the steroids. I am on 70 mgs a day so sleeping has been almost impossible. I have been out of work since November due to the leg pain and constant disc herniation in my spine. Seems if I sit or stand wrong it happens.
Tyring to stay positive and hoping to regain my life!

" By the way, I viewed your website and found it very thorough with lots of helpful information.
