Interview Wednesday, November 17.
There will be a live interview with Gracie (fatnsassy) at 7:30PM eastern on BlogTalkRadio. Archives will be available after the interview
Gracie (fatnsassy) has been dealing with Cushing's symptoms for over 14 years.
She began testing in California with Dr. Ted Friedman June, 2007 and she was diagnosed in May, 2008 with cyclical Cushing's disease. She saw Dr. Hae-Dong Jho just before this chat and arranged for her pituitary surgery in Philadelphia, Pa, in August, 2008.
Gracie has decided to hold a Scentsy Fundraiser to help give back and help keep the boards going.
She will answer questions about her generous fundraiser and how it works to benefit everyone for the holiday season.
She has had a previous interview where she talked about her pituitary surgery. She may discuss her BLA at this one, as well.

Thanks to a suggestion by Patrick, this site now has a "template chooser" on the left, just under the menu. If you are on a cellphone, this site should have already loaded a special template optimized for PDAs and mobile phones. If you are on an iPad, use the chooser and select iPad for a more compatible template. There is still some cosmetic work to be done on this template but it works!
Each article on this site allows for reader comments and suggestions.
The Cushing's Boards are finished with a major upgrade and facelift. Those are now optimized for viewing on cellphones, as well.

After my work in the office, I tried to research on the web about this Mr. Cushing (cushing's syndrome). I found out that I have almost all of the symptoms such as moonfaced, buffalo hump, hypertension, water retention, central obesity ( i weighed 94 kg); purplish straie on the abdomen and legs and unintentional weight gain.

I wish that more of the "old-timers" would share Success Stories.
I know that people want to go away and forget (try anyway!) all about Cushing's but it would help the newbies see that there is life after Cushing's and it's not all about ranting and raving
