The doctors listed here have been recommended to Cushing's Help by other patients as being helpful to them.  These physicians are familiar with the symptoms and treatment of Cushing's Disease (pituitary) and Cushing's Syndrome. Your primary care physician may be able to order very basic screening tests. Some of these doctors may require a referral and/or an abnormal test result prior to scheduling an appointment.

Cushing's Help does not endorse any particular physician. Choosing a particular physician and substantiating his/her expertise is the responsibility of the individual patient.

To recommend your own doctor for this list, please fill out this form.

This list is a continuing resource as new doctors are added, edited OR removed.

Patient Comment: I heard your podcast with Aly H. You mentioned about adding good doctors to your website especially from the Northeast. I had pituitary surgery twice also. The first time was slicing and dicing on the left side which was determined from a petrosal vein sampling back in 1990. After that things got back to normal. I had my daughter in 1993 and after that I started having many issues and eventually was diagnosed again in 1996. I went back into surgery with the same surgeon and this time they completely removed the pituitary and I had 6 weeks of radiation post surgery. I am on lifetime hormone replacements and have finally found an endocrinologist that I like and trust. This is him that I am adding to your list.

From the Doctor's webpage: My commitment as a published researcher, teacher and lifelong student of my chosen field, allows me to give my patients the most up to date and highest standard of care available. I enjoy patient interaction, including teaching and informing my patients about their disease and treatment options. I continue to be inspired and driven by the patients I have helped.

Why I Chose Medicine

I realized during my residency training that there was a direct relationship between the most common medical problems and many endocrine abnormalities. I could actually halt disease progression and even cure many diseases if I were given the tools. My completion of a competitive fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism gave me those tools.
