Ty Carroll, MD, has been appointed assistant professor of medicine in the division of endocrinology and metabolism at The Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Carroll practices at the new Endocrinology Center at North Hills in Menomonee Falls and serves on the medical staffs of Community Memorial Hospital and Froedtert Hospital.
Board-certified in internal medicine, his clinical interests include the treatment of diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid and adrenal gland diseases, and a special interest in diseases of the pituitary gland, such as Cushing’s syndrome and pituitary tumors.
Dr. Carroll completed his postdoctoral training at the Medical College. He served an internal medicine residency in 2002 and was named chief medical resident in 2005. Subsequently, he completed an endocrinology, metabolism and clinical nutrition fellowship.
He received his medical degree from the Medical College in 2002, and his bachelor of science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1998.
